Parking Assist Control Module: Service and Repair

Parking Aid Control Module J446, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

If the control module is replaced, select "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Functions".

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove luggage compartment right side trim.

-

If present, remove TV tuner.

-

Release retaining clips - 1 and 2 - and remove Parking Aid Control Module J446 - item 4 - from control module bracket.

-

Disconnect electrical connectors - 3 and 5 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

If present, install TV tuner.

-

Install luggage compartment right side trim.
