Rear Lid And Tailgate Lock, Removing, Installing And Adjusting

Rear lid

Removing:
-

Remove tailgate lining.

-

Disconnect and remove all electric wiring from tailgate.

-

A second person is required to lift off tailgate

-

Remove gas-filled struts on left and right.

-

Unscrew hexagon bolts securing both tailgate hinges to tailgate.

-

Take off tailgate.

Installing:
-

Install in reverse order.
