Cabin Ventilation Duct: Testing and Inspection

Air Extraction Vents, Checking

Sealing lips -B- on vent frame -A- must be able to move freely and close by themselves.

NOTE:

Illustration shows location of extraction vents behind rear bumper. Remove rear bumper to access vents.

Vehicle is fitted with two air extraction vents (left and right) for forced air extraction.

To ensure proper air extraction from passenger compartment, check the following:

Ventilation slits -A- in luggage compartment trim must not be obstructed.

-

Air ducts in the luggage compartment trim must not be covered.

-

Air flow through vent frame -B- must not be obstructed by objects in the luggage compartment.
