Valve Cover: Service and Repair
Cylinder Head Cover

Cylinder Head Cover

Removing

-

Remove intake manifold. See: Intake Manifold

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and lay aside fuel line bracket. 

-

Remove electrical wiring bracket from upper timing chain cover. 

-

Loosen cylinder head cover bolts in - 11 to 1 - sequence. 

-

Remove bolts and remove cylinder head cover.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace cylinder head cover seals and bolts if damaged.
