To prevent surface damage to intake manifold, lay a clean cloth -  1 - over lock carrier.

-

Tip intake manifold forward - arrow A - and remove it to left - arrow B -.

‹› Seal intake channels in cylinder head with clean rags or foam pieces so that small pieces cannot fall in.

Installing

‹› Tightening torques => [ Intake Manifold Assembly Overview ] See: Intake Manifold Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace seals.

Install ignition coils => [ Ignition Coils ] See: Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair.

Install air filter housing => [ Air Filter Housing ] See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair.

Install air filter insert => [ Air Filter Insert ] See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Air Filter Element/Service and
Repair/Air Filter Insert.

Connect Ground (GND) wire to battery => Electrical
