Remove right sound insulation (arrows).

Remove poly V-belt from pulley for vibration damper.

Remove bolt for vibration damper using counterhold T10069.

Unscrew inner section of oil seal extractor 3203 3 turns (approx. 4 mm) out of outer section and lock with knurled screw.

-

Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor, place it in position and, exerting firm pressure, screw it into oil seal as far as possible.

-

Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against crankshaft until oil seal is pulled out.

-

Clamp flats of oil seal extractor in vise. Remove oil seal with pliers.

-

Clean running surface and sealing surface.

Installing 

Note:

Do not lubricate the oil seal before installing.
