Removing
CAUTION:

Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

Before handling airbag units (e.g. disconnecting electrical connector), the person handling it must "electrostatically discharge". This can
be done by touching door striker, for example.

Remove the backrest.

Remove backrest cover panel.
-
Disconnect connector - 1 - from coupling - 2 -.

Remove coupling - 2 - upward from mount on housing - 3 -.

Clip on housing cover - 3 -.

Remove Drivers Backrest Stop Switch E69 or Front Passengers Backrest Stop Switch E70 - 2 - with wire and coupling from housing - 1 -.
NOTE: The two stop switches in the housing must not be separated and can only be replaced together with wire and coupling.
Installing
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
