Engine Compartment E-Box

Removing

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (ND) wire, refer to=> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.

Audi TTS, Audi TT with 3.2L MPI engine:

-

Remove the air filter housing.

All Vehicles

-

Remove relay and fuse panel, refer to => [ Relay and Fuse Panel in Engine Compartment E-Box ] See: Fuse Block/Service and Repair/Relay and
Fuse Panel in Engine Compartment E-Box. 

‹› Mark electrical wires on threaded connections for reinstallation.

-

Remove nuts for electrical wires - 1 through 6 - on conductor rail.

-

Release retaining springs - 3 and 4 - and remove engine compartment E-box - 1 - upward.
