‹› When replacing lock cylinder, observe guidelines regarding immobilizer induction coil.

Disconnect electrical harness connector at induction coil.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Place replacement key in lock cylinder and turn to ignition " on" position.

Insert the locking Pin (T40011) again all the way into the front side.

Slide lock cylinder - 1 - with induction coil into steering lock housing - 2 -.

-

Then remove locking Pin (T40011) and press lock cylinder securely in until catch engages audibly.

-

Connect electrical connector to immobilizer induction coil.
