Removing

-

Remove Climatronic Control Module (J255) => Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 87 Removal and Installation

-

Remove center console trim: vehicles with manual transmission, refer to => [ Center Console Trim, with Manual Transmission ] , or vehicles with
DSG transmission, refer to=> [ Center Console Trim, with DSG Transmission ].

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and carefully remove ashtray -  1 - toward rear.

-

Disconnect cigarette lighter electrical connector on ashtray.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
