Removing

‹› Before handling airbag units (e.g. disconnecting electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This
can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Attach front seat to Fixture For Seat Repair ( VAS 6136). Refer to => [ Front Seat, Installing on Fixture for Seat Repair VAS 6136 ] See: Service

Remove tunnel side trim panel. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Power Seats/Sill Side Trim

Remove tunnel side trim panel. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Power Seats/Tunnel Side Trim

Remove front backrest. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Power Seats/Front Backrest

Disconnect electrical connector - 4 - on Driver Seat Height Adjustment Motor (V245) - 2 - or Front Passenger's Seat Height Adjustment Motor
(V246).

Disconnect seat pan upper frame - 1 - from lower frame - 3 -. Refer to => [ Seat Pan, Disassembling and Assembling ] See: Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Power Seats.

Remove seat pan upper frame with cover and upholstery from lower frame.

Remove the bolts - 2 -.
