Removing

-

Remove driver side storage tray: => Body Interior

 68 Removal and Installation

-

Disconnect brake pedal from brake booster => [ Brake Pedal to Brake Booster, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Brake Pedal to Brake
Booster, Disconnecting and Connecting. 

-

Remove nut - 5 -. 

-

Remove hex bolt - 9 - from brake pedal and bushing. 

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal.

-

Slide hex bolt - 9 - through brake pedal and bushing. 

-

Use new nut - 5 - and tighten. Note tightening specification. 

‹› Lubricate mounting points with polyurea grease ( G 052 142 A2) before installing

Clip brake pedal to brake booster push rod ball head.

 Hold ball head of push rod in front of mounting and push brake pedal in direction of brake booster, so the ball head locates audibly.=> [ Brake
