Horn: Service and Repair

High Tone and Low Tone Horns

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Information
Bus/Service Precautions. 

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove front bumper cover. See: Body and Frame/Bumper

-

Disconnect electrical connectors - 1 and 4 -.

-

Remove nuts - arrows -.

-

Remove signal horn - 2 or 3 - from bracket.

Installing

‹› Tightening specification, refer to => [ Signal Horns Assembly Overview ] See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument

Cluster / Carrier/Service and Repair/Signal Horns Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install front bumper cover. See: Body and Frame/Bumper
