Installing

‹› For tightening specifications, refer to => [ Cylinder Head Cover and Cylinder Head Assembly Overview ] See: Engine, Cooling and

Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve Cover/Service and Repair/Cylinder Head Cover and Cylinder Head Assembly Overview.

‹› Replace sealing ring.

‹› Clean the camshaft adjustment valve 1 and the drive chain housing. 

CAUTION!
‹› Protect the camshaft adjustment valve 1 from shocks and impact stress. 

‹› Remove the new camshaft adjustment valve 1 from its packaging just before installing it.

Coat sealing ring with engine oil.

Carefully install the camshaft adjustment valve 1 into the drive chain housing and push it all the way by hand horizontally to the valve axle. 

The rest of the installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Install coolant ventilation line. Refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Assembly Overview ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant
Line/Hose/Service and Repair/Coolant Pipes Assembly Overview.
