remove residual adhesive from molding and door with 3M(C) General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner or equivalent

^

Do not use brake or carburetor cleaner

^

prime adhesive contact areas on body, and door protective molding with primer from adhesive kit Part No. D004 300 03

Note

Primer, Part No. D 009 200 01 may also be ordered separately.

^

apply adhesive D 009 100 03 to edges of molding (arrow)

^

position molding and press firmly onto door

^

reinstall cap nuts and tighten

^

allow to dry 4 hours at 20~C (68~F)

Replacement door protective moldings, installing

^

clean adhesive contact area on door

^

pull off foil from new molding (arrow)

^

position molding and press firmly onto door

^

reinstall cap nuts and tighten
