At 30,000 miles (48,000 km) and 60,000 miles (96,000 km) check toothed belt tensioning lever stop adjustment and physically inspect
for wear and/or deterioration.
Checking
Caution Only turn crankshaft in direction of engine rotation.

disconnect electric fan bolts (arrows).
^
lift fan out and place to one side in
^
remove poly ribbed belt
^
remove tooth belt guard, left side (arrows)
^
turn engine, check toothed belt for:
^
fraying edges
^
cracks
^
excessive vear on back of belt
