bend lock plate open
remove steering tie rod mounting bolts (arrows)

remove steering damper bolt (arrow)
carefully pry both steering tie rods from bracket and lock plate
remove steering damper with bracket and lock plate through opening in right wheel housing

remove flange tube bolts (arrows) from steering pinion
remove shackle bolt and press shackle out of steering column and flange tube
press steering column sideways and remove flange tube from steering pinion
remove dash panel seal

remove left wheel housing mounting bolts (arrows)

remove steering gear right mounting bolt
