Grinding cylinder head sealing surface
(N43B16)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove cylinder head.
•
Remove intake camshaft.
•
Remove exhaust camshaft.
Check evenness of cylinder head sealing face with a standard
straight-edge (1).
Note:
Maximum plane deviation: longitudinal 0.10 mm.
Note:
Maximum plane deviation: transversal 0.05 mm.
Before machining cylinder head, check for undersize.
Bore (1) is used to determine the cylinder head thickness.
Determine dimension (A) using a caliper gauge.
Dimension (A), original dimension and machining limit .
