Replacing all main crankshaft bearing shells

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Replace crankshaft.
Checking spray nozzle adjustment:
Fit special tool 11 9 370 .
Spray nozzles must fit into guide of special tool 11 9 370 .
If necessary, release spray nozzles and adjust and tighten down
with special tool 11 9 370 .
Tightening torque 11 11 4AZ
.
Important!
Install bearing shells (1) with continuous oil grooves in
engine block.
Install bearing shells (2) without continuous oil grooves in
lower crankcase.
Installation:
When the bearing shells or crankshaft are replaced, the
classification is eliminated for the bearing shell arrangement
in the crankcase.
