Removing and installing/replacing exhaust-
gas recirculation valve (N43B16)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove vacuum pump (E8x and E9x only).
•
Remove exhaust manifold (E8x and E9x only).
•
Drain coolant.
•
Detach fuel feed line.
Release screws (2).
Tightening torque: 11 71 3AZ
.
Bend exhaust-gas recirculation pipe (1) downwards slightly.
Installation:
Replace seal.
Release screw (1).
Detach pipe (1) for exhaust-gas recirculation in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Replace O-rings.
