Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
oil sump (N46T)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Unscrew and remove splash guard.
•
Drain engine oil.
•
Secure engine in installation position.
•
Unlock and detach plug connection to oil level sensor.
•
Unlock and detach plug connection to chassis and
suspension sensor.
•
Lower front axle.
There is no need to perform a front axle alignment check.
Cut through cable ties (1).
Unscrew cover plate (2) from transmission.
Note:
A residual amount of oil remains in front section of oil sump. Have
a cleaning cloth and a suitable container ready.
Release screws on oil sump.
Tightening torque, 11 13 2AZ.
