Replacing camshaft pulse generator (M47TU /
M57TU / M47T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read fault memory of DDE control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove acoustic cover at front
Remove sealing cap (1).
If necessary, remove rubber sleeve (2).
Unlock plug (3) from pulse generator and detach.
Release screw (4).
Tightening torque 13 62 8AZ
.
Remove pulse generator (5).
Installation:
Apply a thin coat of anti-friction agent to sealing ring (1) for
installation.
Installation:
Now clear the fault memory.
Check function of DDE.
