Replacing fuel tank vent valve (N43)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
•
Switch off ignition
•
Installation location: Tank vent valve is fitted at side on intake
air manifold.
Release hose (1) at fuel tank vent valve (3) and disconnect.
Unlock hose (2) on intake manifold and detach.
Disconnect plug connection (4).
Remove fuel tank vent valve (3) by pulling upwards.
Note:
After installation:
•
Check stored fault messages
•
Clear fault memory
