Function check of digital engine electronics
(DME) 

Diagnosis socket in engine compartment:

Connect MoDiC or BMW diagnosis system.

Interrogate DME fault memory.

Note fault messages stored in memory.

Further information on troubleshooting in line with DIS or MoDiC
instructions.

Diagnosis socket (1) in footwell, driver's side:

Same procedure as above.
