1 Series 128i (N52K) Convertible
Unclip emergency release knob (1) in direction of arrow.
Detach Bowden cable (2) from emergency release knob (1).
Release expander rivets (4).
Feed out luggage compartment wheel arch trim (5) in direction of
arrow and remove.
Note:
If necessary, disconnect electrical plug connection from
socket (6).
Installation:
Catches (3) on emergency release knob (1) must not be
damaged.
If necessary, replace faulty expander rivets (4).
Replacement:
•
If necessary, release catches (1) and modify socket (2).
•
Release retainer (4) on back of luggage compartment wheel
arch trim (3) and remove stowage net (5).
Installation:
Guide (1) and catches (2) on socket (3) must not be damaged.
