About the E30 3 Series
The E30 was the second generation of the 3 Series, made from 1982 to 1994. It was the first 3 Series offered as a four-door saloon and as an estate (Touring), and the first with a diesel. The 325iX was the first BMW with all-wheel drive, the first M3 was built on the E30 with the high-revving S14 four, and the Z1 roadster used its platform.
