3 Series E36 316i (M43) COUPE
Remove oil line to camshaft lubrication.
Release bearing cap.
Remove camshaft.
Installation
Installation of camshaft is described separately from removal.
Assembly sequence differs between removal and installation.
Insert camshaft and install bearing cover.
Note:
Bearing caps are numbered 2 ... 5.
The first bearing cap is not marked.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 31 1AZ.
