Dismantling and assembling vane pump
(LuK/Vickers pump)
- Pump removed -
Absolute cleanliness is essential when working on power-
steering pump.
Remove pulley.
Clamp vane pump in vise with pulley flange.
Mark components relative to one another.
1 Holder
2 Bush
3 Rear case section
4 Front case section
5 Holder
Unfasten screws.
Remove case half (3) with spring (6) and valve spool (7).
Remove pressure plate (8) with rotor ring (9) and cylinder pins
(10).
