Checking condition (visual inspection) of all V-belts. Checking tension, retensioning and
replacing if necessary
Condition check
Make sure V-belt is correctly positioned in grooves of belt pulleys.
Check V-belt for mechanical damage and cracks, replace if necessary.
Check V-belt for coolant and oil residues, replace if necessary.
Caution!
V-belt must be replaced without fail if fouled with hydraulic fluid.
Tension check
Check tension of V-belt, retension if necessary.
