3 Series E36 318i (M43) SAL
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery, refer
to general instructions in MG 12.
Disconnect negative battery lead.
Release ignition coil.
Remove Bowden cable for throttle actuation from throttle.
Remove suction filter housing.
If necessary, remove fan clutch with fan impeller and fan cowl.
Remove radiator.
Disconnect heater hoses at heater and heating valve.
Release oil tank for hydraulic steering and tie back to one side.
Note:
Lines remain connected.
