Replacing complete fuel pipe (M43 from 9/95,
M44)
Remove manifold upper section,
refer to 11 61 040.
Remove inlet hose (1) for air lines of air-enclosed fuel injectors on
intake hose.
Installation:
Check that inlet hoses on fuel injectors are securely seated on
the fuel injectors and on the intake hose.
Detach inlet hoses (1) from fuel injectors.
Release hose clamp (1) on fuel return line.
Pull off hose.
Installation:
Replace fuel line and hose clips.
Disconnect fuel feed line (2) at the screw connection.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 53 4AZ.
