3 Series E36 318i (M44) SAL
Cut side member cover to size.
Note:
Reinforcement plate may be produced from the cut-out part.
Cut front reinforcement plate (1) to size and fit in.
Width of reinforcement plate = 60 mm.
Drill holes for plug welding in side member cover and deburr (2).
Coat reinforcement plate with zinc dust paint and slide into
remaining side member cover 30 mm deep and weld.
Cut rear reinforcement plate to size and fit in.
Width of reinforcement plate = 60 mm.
Drill holes for plug welding in side member cover and deburr.
RA Replacing left or right side member cover (partial replacement bottom)
