Near the steering column support
on the A-pillar side, tension the
metal panel along the whole length
of the groove (arrowed in figure) by
tapping it with a wooden wedge

On the outside of the cowl panel,
tension the metal panel over its
whole length by tapping it with a
wooden wedge along the groove
immediately below the windscreen.
Do not remove the windscreen for
this purpose (arrowed in figure)

Near the end wall, tension the
metal along the top edge over the
whole length of the metal panel by
tapping it with a wooden wedge.
Remove the ornamental grille from
the cowl panel for this purpose
(arrowed in figure)
