3 Series E36 318is (M44) SAL
Remove spark-plug connectors.
Loosen the ignition lead and remove it with the cable duct.
Pull off the hose for the engine breather.
Unscrew cover bolts and remove cylinder head cover.
Note:
Cylinder head cover is separated from cylinder head by rubber
mounts and seals to insulate it from vibration.
Carefully note arrangement of cover retaining fixture.
