Removing and installing/sealing or replacing
complete main flow oil filter (M41)
Unfasten support bracket between timing case cover and main
flow oil filter.
Loosen guide pipe for dipstick.
Unfasten screw from main flow oil filter cover, lift screw and wait
until engine oil drains out of oil-water heat exchanger and back
into oil pan.
Remove main flow oil filter cover.
Installation note:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 42 2AZ
Installation note:
Replace seals in main flow oil filter cover and on the screw.
