Replacing electric fuel cutout device (M41)
Interrogate fault memory. Switch off ignition.
The diesel engine is switched off by interrupting the flow of
fuel.
Checking fuel cutout device, refer to 13 51 300
Function diagram:

Intake bore

Distributor piston

Solenoid on fuel cutout device
5.
High pressure chamber
Removing intake air manifold,
refer to 11 61 050
Remove dust cap.
Unfasten screw connection to delivery line.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 13 51 9AZ (2.5 Nm)
