Replacing camshaft (M41)
Remove cylinder head cover,
refer to 11 12 000.
Remove vacuum pump,
refer to 11 66 000.
Remove fan impeller with fan clutch,
refer to 11 52 020.
Remove manifold for intake air,
refer to 11 61 050.
Removal:
Removal of camshaft is described separately from installation.
Assembly sequence for removal and installation is different.
Note:
Rotate engine enginewise until valves on cylinder 4 are in
TDC position.
(Cylinder 1: working stroke).
