Removing and installing/replacing activated
charcoal filter (compact)
Remove rear left side trim panel,
refer to 51 43 000
Remove rear left cover on inside.
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect. Unfasten and
detach vent lines.
Installation:
Make sure that plug connections and wires are properly
secured.
Unscrew bolts (1).
Carefully tilt activated charcoal filter (1) upwards towards rear.
Open hose clamp (2) and detach hose.
Remove activated charcoal filter.
