3 Series E36 318ti (M44) COMP
Final muffler with retaining bracket
Release fixture at rear left and right.
Remove exhaust system towards bottom.
Installation:
Check rubber mounts for damage and replace if necessary.
Pretension rubber mount in driving direction by A = 15 mm.
Rear muffler with clamp
Release collar nut with clamp on rear muffler.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 18 00 3AZ.
Remove exhaust system towards bottom.
Installation:
Check position of tailpipe to body cutout.
If necessary, release flanged joint and rubber suspension
elements.
Align exhaust system and resecure.
