Replacing roof outer skin panel (compact) (on
version without slide/tilt sunroof)
General information about body repair,
refer to 41 00
The following components must be unfastened or removed:
-
Both front seats
-
Front lid
-
Windshield
-
Rear vent window
-
Trunk lid
Other vehicle parts located in the repair zone or subject to
damage from heat, sparks or dust, must be removed or covered.
Unfasten left and right retaining screws on roofrack.
Caution!
Mounting screws are coated with cement.
Always replace mounting screws!
Drill out welding points on left and right sides up to B-pillar.
