3 Series E36 318ti (M44) COMP
To prevent damage to the plug connector on the airbag module,
the following assembly sequence must be observed:

Caution!
Always replace micro-encapsulated screws!
Screw down side airbag module
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 12 1AZ

Attach adapter lead to side airbag module,

Mount retaining clip, replace damaged clip if necessary.
RA Removing and installing/replacing airbag module on left or right front door
