Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
oil pan ( M50 from 9 / 92 )
Note:
For removal of oil pan, front axle support must be lowered.
There is no need to perform a front axle alignment check.
Draining off engine oil,
refer to 00 0 249
Unfastening steering spindle from steering gear,
refer to 32 31 070
Empty oil tank for hydro-steering. Release oil lines from hydro-
steering.
Installation:
Filling or draining power steering unit,
refer to 32 13 006
Prepare Special Tool 00 0 200, consisting of Special Tool
00 0 201/202/204/206.
