3 Series E36 323i (M52) CONVER
Only replace:
Hard caps:
Lift out upwards.
Soft caps:
Detach burr fastener at bottom and lift out of top.
Note:
Soft caps can only be disassembled with the rollover bar
extended.
Open convertible top compartment cover.
Partially remove edge protection.
Lift out expanding rivet and lift insert out from top (cover removed).
Fold insulating mat aside.
Unfasten screws and remove drawer from front.
Remove connector (1).
Unfasten screws and remove rollover bar from top.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
