Checking idle speed (M51, M41)

Requirements:

- 

Engine at operating temperature (Oil temperature > 60

°

C)

- 

Valve drive OK

- 

All electric consumers switched off

Connect BMW SERVICE TESTER or DIS or MoDiC to diagnosis
receptacle. Read off idle speed, nominal value:

refer to Technical Data

In case of deviation from specified value, interrogate error memory
of DDE (refer to DDE Test Plan).

If necessary, check basic setting of pedal value sensor (refer to
DDE Test Plan).
