Adjusting left or right front door window
(coupé and convertible)

Note instructions for adjusting door window (coupé and
convertible),

refer to 51 32 ...

To measure retraction depths (B) and (C), open door, fit special
tool 51 3 080 to door window and close door.

Without removal of door trim panel:

Retraction depth (C):

Ideal Adjustment:

Dimension (C) is measured on A-pillar.

Dimension (C) = 1.0 ... 1.5 mm

Removing rubbing strip,

refer to 51 15 330

Lower the door window to about 105 to 110 mm.

Loosen the lower screw through the rear adjusting hole.

Rotate Torx screw clockwise.

- 

Turn cap screw (4 mm) counter-clockwise.
