Removing and installing/replacing headliner
for sun-roof lid
Installation:
If necessary, apply light coat of Renax GL1 (Fuchs) grease
to guide duct.
Remove sun-roof lid,
refer to 54 12 100
The mechanism must be lowered at the back by dimension (A). If
necessary, lower as with the installed slide/tilt sunroof cover.
Distance (A) = 2 to 3 mm
Slowly slide floating roof liner right back (with clean hands, or
wearing protective gloves).
Version with rotary tumbler:
Slide headliner back slightly and unfasten 2 Torx screws (rotary
tumbler) on left side.
