Removing and installing/replacing left or right
power window module (2-door models)
Note:
Electronic system for power-window control is a power-window
module screwed onto corresponding motor.
Power-window module can be removed separately.
If necessary, move window downwards.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative lead.
•
Remove door trim.
•
Pull off plastic sheet.
Unfasten screws.
Tightening torque 61 35 1AZ
.
Checking power window drive motor:
Remove drive motor and clamp in a vice at pole pipe.
Warning!
Danger of clamping on driving pinion!
Important!
Risk of short circuits!
To test function, supply drive motor at arrowed poles briefly with a
voltage of 12 V.
