Removing and installing/replacing rear
spoiler (Z3 Coupé, M Coupé)

Note:

To bond windshield:

Adhesives for cold and hot working are permitted.

Remove auxiliary brake light (complete),

refer to 63 25 000.

Cold processing:

Follow rear spoiler gluing instructions,

refer to 51 71 ...

Warm processing:

If necessary, open aluminum membrane at rear end of cartridge.

Place cartridge in cartridge oven.

Heat glue cartridges to 80

°

 C for one hour in oven (Sourcing

Reference: BMW Parts Service).

Follow rear spoiler gluing instructions,

refer to 51 71 ...

Open trunk lid.

Lever out covers (1) and release nuts.

Installation:

Tightening Torque,

refer to Technical Data 51 71 2AZ.
