Drill holes for plug welding at

mating surface for

outside roof frame/C-pillar (1) and

outside roof frame/water gutter (2)

in vehicle.

Coat connection point on vehicle with zinc dust paint.

Install, secure, and weld reinforcement plate for mating surface for
outside roof frame/C-pillar approx. 20 mm in vehicle.

Install, secure, and weld reinforcement plate for mating surface for
outside roof frame/water gutter approx. 20 mm in vehicle.

Drill holes in replacement outside roof frame for plug welding of
reinforcement plate for C-pillar.

RA  Replacing left or right roof frame (partial replacement, C-pillar) (Z3 Coupé)
