Fitting trunk lid (Z3 Coupé)

Note:

Engine hood was fitted and bolted in an unfinished body
shell.

Make unpainted surfaces visible by also moving the hinges.

These surfaces must be touched up in the appropriate
paint color.

Note:

When installing a new trunk lid, in order to avoid damage to
paintwork, make sure there is a sufficient gap between trunk
lid and body.

If necessary, attach fabric tape to points of contact on body.

Open trunk lid.

Check sliding members (1) on lower section of trunk lid lock for
damage. 

If necessary, push sliding members out towards top and replace.

Unclip plastic covers (1) from lower section of trunk lid lock.
